Rosendin Foundation Awards $2.86 Million to 157 Nonprofits

The Rosendin Foundation has awarded $2.86 million in grants to 157 nonprofit organizations across 12 states and nationwide as demand for community support continues to climb. The 2026 grant cycle drew 838 applications requesting $34.5 million, a 178% increase over the previous year.

Individual grants ranged from $5,000 to $100,000 and focused on four areas of need: emotional health, nutritional health, occupational health and whole health.

Workforce development was among the priorities, with $408,660 directed toward occupational health programs designed to expand career pathways and connect people with opportunities in the skilled trades.

Skillpoint Alliance received $75,000 for its pre-apprenticeship electrical training facility in South Austin, Texas. Heavy Metal Summer Experience received $49,660 to introduce teenagers across the country to careers in the building trades through free hands-on camps, mentorship and exposure to career pathways.

“By providing free, hands-on camps, industry mentorship, tools, safety gear and exposure to career pathways, HMSE helps students see what is possible for their future while helping the construction industry build the next generation of skilled trades professionals,” says Ellen Young, Executive Director of Heavy Metal Summer Experience.

The Foundation also awarded more than $1.1 million for emotional health initiatives, $675,000 for nutritional health programs and $672,500 for whole health efforts.

Recipients included the 100 Club of Arizona, which received $90,000 to purchase decontamination systems that help firefighters wash off carcinogens. America’s Mighty Warriors received $50,000 for its Helping Heroes Heal Program while USA Cares received $40,000 for its Military Assistance Response System. AmpleHarvest.org received $50,000 to help gardeners share surplus harvests with food pantries nationwide.

“A grant is ultimately an investment in someone’s ability to move forward—to feel supported, regain stability or see a new possibility for their future,” says Chandra Stewart, Executive Director of The Rosendin Foundation.

Beyond its annual grant program, the Foundation is on track to distribute more than $70,000 in emergency grants to organizations facing urgent needs. Rosendin employees also participate in service projects and fundraising activities throughout the year.

The Foundation hosts TRF Camp Build in five cities, giving middle school students hands-on exposure to construction skills and skilled trades careers.

Since its formation in 2020, The Rosendin Foundation has distributed more than $9.5 million to more than 650 nonprofit organizations. The Foundation serves as the philanthropic arm of Rosendin Electric and its sister company Modular Power Solutions.
