STRAUSS served as presenting sponsor of Netflix’s pregame and postgame coverage for MLB at Field of Dreams, using one of baseball’s most celebrated stages to spotlight the craftsmanship behind the game. Held Aug. 13 in Dyersville, Iowa, the Field of Dreams game returned to the iconic ballpark inspired by the beloved film.
While the event celebrated baseball’s history, STRAUSS helped tell another story by highlighting the expertise, coordination and teamwork of the groundskeepers and field crews who transformed a rural cornfield into a global baseball stage.
As presenting sponsor, STRAUSS was featured throughout Netflix’s live pregame and postgame programming. In-game content also recognized the groundskeepers and field crews responsible for preparing and maintaining the venue, with crew members wearing STRAUSS workwear. The broadcast reached audiences in more than 190 countries and regions worldwide as part of Netflix’s Major League Baseball coverage.
“Every great performance begins long before the stadium lights turn on,” says STRAUSS CEO Henning Strauss. “Whether on a construction site, in manufacturing, in the field or preparing a ballpark for the world’s best players, success depends on skilled tradespeople who take pride in their craft. This partnership allows us to celebrate those professionals on one of the biggest and most iconic stages in the sport.”
The collaboration marked STRAUSS’s first integration into a global sports broadcast and continued the workwear brand’s focus on championing craftsmanship across industries. By bringing attention to the crews behind one of baseball’s signature events, STRAUSS put the expertise, precision and work required before the first pitch on a worldwide stage.
