Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced today that Peter Priebe has joined the firm as Director, Special Practices in their Irvine headquarters. In this newly created role, Priebe will focus on business priorities such as practice diversification, practice leadership and Ware Malcomb real estate, while also providing oversight to the firm’s IT and human resource departments.
“Peter brings a depth of international financial and operational leadership experience,” said Tobin Sloane, Chief Financial Officer & Executive Vice President & for Ware Malcomb. “Working closely with our executive leadership team, we look forward to his contributions to the strategic growth of the business.”
Prior to joining Ware Malcomb, Priebe was Chief Executive Officer for a Los Angeles-based design firm. He also brings more than 12 years of experience working in architecture and engineering industry roles including Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Priebe graduated from California State Polytechnic University Pomona with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and received an MBA degree from the University of California, Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business. In addition, he completed an advanced management program in real estate development and design leadership at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He is active in his community with several organizations, including as an advisory board member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
