The Roofing Alliance and Clemson University have expanded their Professional Training Program with a new online course focused on sustainability and resiliency across the roofing industry.
The self-paced Roofing Sustainability and Resiliency course provides roofing professionals with practical knowledge of sustainable practices throughout the roofing supply chain, from raw material procurement and manufacturing to installation, maintenance and long-term performance.
Participants can earn eight American Institute of Architects (AIA) Continuing Education credits through the program.
Course topics include sustainable material sourcing, manufacturing processes, distribution considerations, installation quality assurance, life cycle assessment, roofing innovation and industry certifications. The training also examines market drivers and challenges associated with adopting sustainable roofing practices.
The new offering joins three existing courses in the Roofing Alliance–Clemson University Professional Training Program: Roofing Fundamentals, Roofing Management and Roofing Business and Leadership.
Participants have 60 days to complete each course and receive a Certificate of Completion after successfully finishing the coursework and final examination.
National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) members receive a $100 discount per course, while Roofing Alliance members save $300 per course. Bulk pricing is also available.
