Each year, Taylor Bros. Construction Co., Inc./Joy of Giving raises money for families in need in our community. Joy of Giving is a not-for-profit organization established in 2010 and managed by employees of The Harmon Group. 100% of all money raised goes directly to families in need! Joy of Giving helps with shopping for children during the holidays, provides support to families with medical needs, helps with vehicles repairs and also donates to the following organizations: Shop With A Cop, Fireman’s Cheer Fund, Love Chapel, The Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner and the CASA organization.
Last year alone, we provided Christmas gifts to 33 Bartholomew County children, we helped four families with medical bills, we repaired two vehicles so the individuals could provide their own transportation to work, we helped with funeral expenses for one family, provided all the pies for the annual community Thanksgiving Dinner, donated 600 gas cards to families staying in the NICU at St. Vincent Hospital plus donated to four local charity organizations.
Please help support Joy of Giving and play in our upcoming Golf Outing on Friday, September 14th at the beautiful Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana. Details are provided in the attached registration.
Feel free to join us on Friday morning before the outing as we dedicate “Hatter’s Hut” – the new bag drop at Otter Creek. This bag drop was designed by Harold Hatter, a long-time supporter of Otter Creek. Hatter was heavily involved in the early days of building the golf course and club house and was a frequent playing partner of Irwin Miller, the visionary behind Otter Creek Golf Course.
