HandiFoam®, the leading provider of professional high-performance adhesives and sealants, has launched HandiFoam® Gasket Foam, a new polyurethane foam-based solution designed to create a durable, continuous seal between drywall and framing. Once cured, HandiFoam Gasket Foam compresses to help prevent drywall bowing while maintaining a strong, long-lasting bond—supporting improved energy efficiency and overall building performance. It’s an ideal product for professionals to seal gaps that can allow air infiltration, moisture intrusion, and pollutants into the home.
“We designed HandiFoam Gasket Foam with the needs of professionals in mind,” said Derrick Hyde, HandiFoam. “The formulation offers reliable, long-term performance that homeowners can trust, as well as a fast and easy installation process for professional jobsite efficiency. ”HandiFoam Gasket Foam is compatible with all Handi-Tool® Dispensing Units, including the new HandiFoam HT990 Dispensing Unit, featuring a smooth-tip design for enhanced glide and precision.
Benefits of the new product include:
- Reduction in moisture intrusion, mold growth, allergens, and drafts
- Supports a tighter, more comfortable and energy-efficient structure
- Stays firmly bonded to framing for a durable, long-lasting seal
- UL GREENGUARD Gold Certified, contributing to healthier indoor environments
