TOLI, a global flooring producer, announced the appointment of industry veteran Jeff Katz to serve as chief operating officer (COO) for the company’s North American market. In addition, Katz has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors, alongside the company’s Director and Managing Executive Officer Masayuki Hashimoto, and General Manager, Global Department Nobuhiro Saitou.
“I’m honored to step into the COO role at a pivotal time for our North American business,” said Katz. “With more than a century of credibility behind the brand, TOLI’s reputation in Japan is
unmatched and synonymous with quality, innovation and trust. My goal is to ensure that our North American division earns the same level of respect in the marketplace.”
Before his promotion to COO, Katz served as TOLI’s senior manager of flooring for North America from 2018 to 2024. Katz originally joined TOLI in 1989, which was then known as CBC America, as a marketing manager. He spent nearly eight years developing the brand in North America.
Between his tenures at TOLI, Katz served as Commercial Manager at Mannington Mills, Inc., and spent more than 15 years at Tarkett in various leadership roles.
Katz earned his bachelor’s in marketing and communication from Babson College.
TOLI, which is Japan’s leading flooring producer since 1919, was introduced to the North American market in 1988. TOLI continues to expand its North American presence with an
increasing range of commercial flooring products that are staples amongst the nation’s leading medical, educational and retail end users.
