Zara parent Inditex has committed to transition to organic, sustainable or recycled cotton, linen and polyester by 2025, and do away with single-use plastics by 2023. The company will also work to ensure 80% of energy from stores, offices and distribution centers will be clean by 2025, and it already lets shoppers drop off used clothing and other items in stores in an effort to curb waste and keep old garments out of landfills.
