YKK AP America Opens Doors to New Texas Facility

YKK 070214 DALLAS/FORT WORTH (July 1, 2014)YKK AP America’s newest manufacturing facility in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area is now open. The manufacturing center, which is dedicated to production, distribution, and logistics, will continue to its increase capacity and service capabilities throughout the remainder of the summer. “The Texas facility is an integral part of our operational growth throughout the region and points further west,” said Oliver Stepe, senior vice president, YKK AP America. “By offering a new production, distribution, and logistics hub, we are able to increase our service capabilities for customers in key markets throughout the country. It’s an exciting day for our customers and for YKK AP America.” The 105,000 square foot Texas location will increase YKK AP’s local production capability and allow for more finished goods inventory. Additionally, the facility will serve as a key U.S. distribution center, improving transportation and logistics services to the entire region, and offer dedicated route truck deliveries to certain major markets.
