Work on Pittsburgh mixed-use project could start in July

The Allegheny County Sports & Exhibition Authority board in Pennsylvania plans to begin development of roads and utilities at the 28-acre site of the former Civic Arena in Pittsburgh as part of a $40 million mixed-use project being proposed by the Pittsburgh Penguins. The project will consist of "1,200 units of housing, 600,000 square feet of office space and 200,000 square feet of commercial development."
