Wolverine Building Group, a leading construction firm headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is announcing the promotion of Kurtis Fritz to Director of Construction, focused on the multi-unit residential market.

Fritz is a graduate of Michigan State University and began his project management career working in concrete, later working in residential remodeling and historic restoration. Fritz has worked for retailer Meijer, Inc. in construction management, supervising multiple concurring projects.
Since joining Wolverine in 2018, Fritz has led several iconic projects, most notably Residence Inn by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown, located at 10 Ionia. The project won the 2022 Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Design Award for Best Hotel. Fritz is spearheading several large multi-family projects across the region, including projects in downtown Brighton and Ypsilanti, Michigan with Wolverine’s regional offices in three locations.
