Wolverine Building Group Advances Team Roles

Wolverine Building Group, a leading construction firm headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, announced today the promotions of John Lafrinere, Brandon Bienhoff, and Francis Pytlowany.

“We’re thrilled to advance John, Brandon and Francis to these new roles,” said Curt Mulder, president of Wolverine Building Group. "They are all highly skilled and experienced construction leaders who have made significant contributions in the region. We are committed to developing the careers of our employees and these promotions are evidence of our intentional process.”

Over several years, Wolverine Building Group has created an intentional career pathing structure, solidifying intent and accelerating employee development. This process has highlighted the established corporate culture where employees feel valued and appreciated.

Lafrinere, who has been with Wolverine Building Group for four years, has been promoted to Project Manager II. In his new role, Lafrinere will be responsible for overseeing major multi-family projects in the Brighton area. He received accolades for the 240,000 square-foot industrial building nearing completion in the Southwest region of Michigan. His early success at Wolverine in supporting roles on notable projects, such as Residence Inn Downtown Grand Rapids, offered clarity to his current path with large multi-family construction projects.

Bienhoff, who recently relocated to Michigan from Kansas, has been promoted to Project Manager. In his new role, Bienhoff will be continuing his fast-paced, complex work constructing QuikTrip Travel Centers across the Midwest, as well as building local restaurants and retail projects. His talents were quickly noted as leadership observed his natural ability to innovate solutions, connect with clients and project positivity dispatched his advancement.

Pytlowany, who began his Wolverine career as an intern, has been promoted to Project Manager. In his new position, he will also be leading construction on several QuikTrip locations, mixing expertise in retail, infrastructure, and restaurant construction. While completing his degree in construction management, Wolverine enlisted his skills, subsequent to his internship, to continuing completing regional builds near his university. His on-the-job understanding has directly impacted positive results for clients.
