Whole Foods Market will debut a “hyper-local” format for a new 48,000-square-foot location in Tampa, Florida when it opens July 7, part of the grocer’s accelerated expansion that could see 40 more stores added into 2022. The new Tampa site will highlight local options in all categories, including seafood, produce, meat and dairy, with 800 products offered by more than 160 local companies.
