Westwood Contractors, Inc. announces management changes and key promotions designed to enhance operations and keep pace with anticipated growth. These changes allow Westwood to focus the talents and expertise of key individuals to maximize business performance and value to clients.
Andy Bohon has been promoted from Vice President / Controller to Senior Vice President of Operations / CFO and will take over direct supervision of the operations team. He will be responsible for standardization of procedures to improve project management and performance, and will lead the ongoing implementation of the company’s Timberline Project Management software.
The change allows Mike McBride, President & Chief Operating Officer, to focus his attention on business development and client relationship management activities, revenue projections, resource planning, integration of pre-construction services, and improved project performance.
Tom Washer, formerly Assistant Controller, has been promoted to Controller & Supply Chain Manager. Tom is responsible for overseeing the accounting department, managing annual filings, audit and tax returns, managing the technology environment, and directing all purchasing activities for non-project related materials and services.
Additionally, John Zabinski, Vice President of Estimating has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Pre-Construction Services.  This change in title not only recognizes John’s increased leadership role in the organization, but also more accurately describes the broad array of planning, value engineering and conceptual budgeting services which Westwood now provides its clientele.
“I am excited about the makeup of our administrative and project management teams which now have an excellent combination of experienced senior professionals balanced with fresh ideas from our recent Assistant Project management additions. We have opportunities for growth and diversity in our future and these organizational management changes position us to improve our level of service and value to clients,” said Mike McBride.
