Helen Oi-Lun Cheung 082814
Irvine, August 2014 – WATG, a global design firm, welcomes Helen Oi-Lun Cheung as Director of Planning, to the Irvine leadership team.  A recognized leader in master planning, urban design and design management, Cheung will bolster WATG’s ability to deliver innovative design solutions to the firm’s growing client roster both regionally and globally.
“We are thrilled to have Helen join the Irvine leadership team to direct our planning studio,” said Monica Cuervo, vice president and managing director of the Irvine office. “Her creativity and international experience complement our talented design team and will propel our planning studio to the next level and provide integrated design solutions, both in terms of creative environments and business planning, so that our clients may achieve their goals and investment objectives.”
Cheung has 25 years of industry experience, and previously served as executive director and principal at AECOM in Greater China. She earned her bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and active with the Urban Land Institute.
