Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the new Allen Hyundai and Allen Cadillac GMC auto dealerships in Laguna Niguel, Calif. Ware Malcomb provided architectural, interior design and branding services for the project.
The combined project for Allen Family Automotive Group totaled 36,839 square feet. The new Allen Cadillac GMC and Allen Hyundai dealerships are located adjacent to one another, at 28332 and 28432 Camino Capistrano, respectively, in Laguna Niguel.
An existing 8,777 square foot building was demolished to make way for the newly-designed 20,410 square foot two-story Allen Cadillac GMC showroom and office building. Portions of the existing service bay buildings were also demolished to accommodate the transfer of .72 acres of land to the adjoining Hyundai auto dealership. New signage, exterior lighting and landscaping were also installed.

For Allen Hyundai, Ware Malcomb designed a new 16,429 square foot service facility and parts storage building, including rooftop parking for vehicle inventory storage. The parts storage building was integrated into the existing dealership’s parking structure. The project also involved expanding the existing sales office and showroom building from 2,271 square feet to 4,041 square feet.
