Walmart expands convenience store concept in Texas

Walmart is opening a new convenience store in Plano, Texas, this week, with three more to open in Arlington, Lake Worth and Lewisville this year. The stores, located in Walmart Supercenter parking lots, are part of the retailer’s efforts to make shopping more convenient, in addition to offerings such as curbside pickup, pickup towers and online delivery.
