Wags Capital to invest $20M to grow chicken concept

Investment firm Wags Capital has acquired Utah-based Dirty Bird Fried Chxx with plans to invest $20 million to open 30 new units of the fast-casual concept over the next year or so. Dirty Bird's menu features a handful of items including chicken sandwiches, fries and banana pudding, making it ideal for small spaces and drive-thru locations. Restaurant Hospitality online
