The Los Angeles City Planning Commission gave its approval to a massive mixed use project set to rise across the street from LA Live. The project, proposed by developer Shenzhen Hazens, would replace the existing Luxe City Center Hotel on Figueroa Street with a pair of towers rising from a flashy podium structure.
