Village Inn parent to reorganize under Chapter 11

American Blue Ribbon Holdings, the Nashville, Tennessee-based parent of casual dining concepts Village Inn and Bakers Square, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection after shuttering 33 underperforming restaurants. The closures left the brands with 97 company-owned locations and 84 Village Inn franchised units. Read the Restaurant Business online story here
