With an assist from Big Red Rooster – a JLL company – Under Armour recently took home the biggest prize at the world’s largest retail design awards ceremony. Under Armour’s Brand House received the “Store of the Year Award” during the 2016 Association for Retail Environments (A.R.E.) Design Awards.
Big Red Rooster designed the 30,000-square-foot flagship store in Chicago that boasts smart design, integrated digital experiences and localized elements.
With entrants from across the globe, the A.R.E. Design Awards are the industry’s largest and most prestigious retail store design awards. An independent panel of judges from industry magazines and retail powerhouses alike voted to honor the Under Armour Brand House as the year’s best new store design. In total, 75 awards were presented this year, a record for the 45 year old program.
