Ulta Beauty added 24 new stores in the second quarter, and on Thursday the retailer said it will book 2016 same-store sales growth of between 12% and 14%. The retailer, which is winning with serious beauty enthusiasts and aggressively courting cosmetics brands across all price points, said it now sees room for the chain to grow to 1,700 US stores, up from an earlier forecast of 1,400.
