UK retailer Sports Direct International is working with U.S. chain Modell’s Sporting Goods on a bid to pick up between 100 and 200 Sports Authority stores, according The Wall Street Journal. Sports Authority filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in March and revealed in court papers filed recently that it’s in negotiations to sell up to 200 stores.
