TRUX™, the first and only comprehensive dump truck logistics platform, announced today it is preparing for a national rollout in 37 new markets in 2019, and expanding operations in its existing markets. Currently, hundreds of the nation’s leading contractors in New England, Tennessee and Southern California use TRUX to dispatch thousands of third-party dump truck providers. The platform has recently launched in Northern California this month and will be followed by four additional states in Q1 2019.
A cloud-based solution, TRUX offers truckers, contractors and material providers a complete dump truck management platform that includes automated dispatching, tracking, driver notification, paperless ticketing, and driver payment. Newly released features include referrals for new drivers, as well as TRUX Chrome, a program that offers independent owner-operators and fleet contractors savings on critical expenses, from health insurance to dump truck maintenance, towing and parts.
TRUX capped 2018 with a tenfold increase in gross market value over 2017. To accommodate its growing staff — from four employees in 2017 to nearly 50 today — the startup moved its headquarters to the well known Reservoir Place office complex in Waltham, Mass. In addition to numerous sales and software development hires, TRUX recently welcomed Keith Rubin as vice president of engineering. Rubin guides the accelerated development of the company’s cloud-based platform to help meet the needs of contractors, dump truck drivers, material providers, and state and local government agencies.
