Farmers Branch-based Centurion American Development Group has already begun its second North Texas mall redevelopment, with a $1 billion Collin Creek Mall project. In April 2019, the Plano city council approved Centurion American’s plan, which called for a multiphase development with 300,000 square feet of retail space, houses, apartments, a hotel with event space and office and entertainment space.
