New York City’s Tavern on the Green restaurant has shed its flamboyant decorations in favor of a rustic-chic look its owners hope will attract local foodies when it opens for the first time in more than four years, according to the The Wall Street Journal. The remodeled Tavern is one-third the size of its previous footprint, boasts a large kitchen which will focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, and offers patio seating overlooking lush Central Park lawns.
