Sweetgreen blazes westward expansion path

Salad chain Sweetgreen will relocate its main headquarters from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles as part of its westward expansion. The chain, which has grown to 39 units since opening its first in Georgetown in 2007, plans to maintain its Washington, D.C., and New York offices even though the headquarters will be based in California.
