LOS ANGELES – SunCentral, Inc., a leading innovator in bringing natural light to multi-story buildings, today announced the appointment of Jack Geortner as vice president of sales, effective immediately.  Geortner will be responsible for managing the company’s U.S. and international sales and marketing operations based in the company’s Los Angeles office.“Coming off the strongest year in SunCentral’s history, we sought out a highly talented executive to build upon our growth,” said Guthrie Cox, chief executive officer of SunCentral.  “Jack brings a global perspective, gained as a senior level sales and operations executive with start-ups, as well as large multi-national companies.  He has deep experience with turnarounds, product launches and business development.  We welcome Jack and look forward to his insights as we look to take our company to its next stage of development.”
Geortner brings more than 25 years of experience in the Architecture and Engineering (AE) industry.  He most recently served as general manager of Johnson Controls’ FlexSys Systems.  Previously, Geortner was director, global accounts for Tate Access Floors.  Earlier, he held senior executive positions with Forms + Surfaces, Fry Reglet and Construction Specialties.  Geortner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from St. Lawrence University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
