Summit Hotel Properties acquires three Hyatt Place hotels

Summit Hotel Properties has closed on a $36.1 million purchase of three hotels under the Hyatt Place brand. The new acquisitions are the 149-room Hyatt Place Orlando/Convention Center and the 151-room Hyatt Place Orlando/Universal in Orlando, Fla., as well as the 126-room Hyatt Place Chicago/Hoffman Estates in Hoffman Estates, Ill. Mirrored cabins in NC reflect off-the-grid luxury

Set to debut in May, the aptly named Mirror Hotel in Marshall, North Carolina includes 18 secluded cabins that each offer a mirror-paneled exterior and the opportunity to go off the grid in an upscale, luxurious way. The cabins, which are built on stilts and
