Study: 2022 US travel could reach $2T mark

The World Travel & Tourism Council is forecasting that domestic tourism could hit $2 trillion this year and exceed pre-pandemic levels. The study also expects tourism jobs to surpass pre-pandemic levels with 16.8 million jobs. TravelPulse

Hotel construction shows signs of life

Hotel construction, which has declined for the past two years. showed a slight increase at the end of the year, STR reports. Luxury and upscale hotels in Dallas, New York and Phoenix have the largest percentage increases in construction. Lodging
