StruXure, known for its durable, modern-day pergolas and outdoor design innovation, is pleased to announce the launch of its latest accessory line, the TraX System. Best described as an accessory track channel, the TraX System will allow for the attachment of more accessories to the brand’s popular pergolas for an upgraded outdoor living experience. TraX will provide three major points of use: cable management; the addition of LED strip lighting; and the ability to integrate motorized screens, which are great for both sun and insect control.
In an effort to prevent imprudent drilling when accessories are added to a Pergola X, and the risks it could cause, including holes in gutters that threaten a dangerous combination of electricity and water, StruXure designed the game-changing TraX System.
“Our TraX System was designed with function in mind,” said StruXure’s CEO, Scott Selzer. “We wanted to create something that ultimately enhanced all four models of our Pergola X, while providing universal access and more options when it comes to lighting and power cable management.”
With the TraX System, the tracks live within the pergola’s framework where wire management is kept separate from water management. The system offers easy access for electricians and installers through removable metal or frosted polycarbonate caps. Additionally, cables and wires can be run vertically up the posts or through any of the structure’s beams, for a unique lighting effect.
The StruXure team created a universal cable system that can be attached within the pergola’s beams and posts. The new accessory will allow installers and dealers to be creative with where they put their TraX System, as it can also be used in conjunction with other outdoor elements, including along decks.
Furthermore, the TraX System provides great versatility, as the hood fits right in between the posts of the Pergola X. Ultimately, this gives any manufacturer the opportunity to put their screens into StruXure’s signature product, as opposed to requiring a single dealer and screen mold to produce the product’s screens.
The TraX System will be offered in all six of StruXure’s standard colors, as well as custom colors to match any old or new StruXure pergola. Officially launching for pre-order on June 15th, 2020 via https:// struxure.com, TraX System will improve the technical experience of lighting and function for an enhanced outdoor living experience. About StruXure: Founded in 2011, CEO and Chief Product Architect Scott Selzer had simply set out to design a better pergola to improve the outdoor space for one of his clients. Scott was a middle-school teacher at the time, with a part-time remodeling business, and when he couldn’t find the product he needed, a pivoting louvered-roof structure that the user could control, he designed his own. Little did he know he’d begun a journey that would lead to one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the United States.
Steady growth attracted top talent and led the company to open a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters just north of Atlanta, GA in 2016. A West Coast Fulfillment Center and Showroom, located just outside of Las Vegas, NV, was added in the Fall of 2017. With StruXure dealers from Canada to the Caribbean, the company is poised and ready to lead the way to more innovative outdoor living across North America and beyond.
