The U.S. hotel industry is expected to close the year with strong performance in all key lodging metrics, STR reports. Preliminary year-end data released by STR indicate a 6.6 percent rise in revenue per available room, a 2.3 percent increase in occupancy and a 4.3 percent jump in average daily rate.
