Starbucks shutters online retail to focus on stores

Starbucks closed an online store that sold coffee, espresso machines, mugs and other branded items on Sunday, in an effort to streamline its sales channels and focus on the in-store experience. Customers will be able to buy most of the items in stores, but Starbucks has ended retail sales of its flavored syrups. Read The New York Times story here
