Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and project development firms, announced today that it hired Atlanta-native Meredi Lee as a Business Development Manager for its Atlanta, GA office. In her new role, Lee will pursue strategic business opportunities for the firm.

Meredi has the energy and people skills making her a valuable addition to our Business Development team,” said Scott Cannon, EVP/General Manager of Skanska for Georgia and South Carolina.
Lee joins Skanska from Martin Concrete Construction. She is a graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public and Political Speech Communications and a minor in Journalism. She volunteers with the ALS and Alzheimer’s Associations of Georgia and is a member of the Atlanta Chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women). She also covers SEC football for CampusSports.net.
In Atlanta, Skanska is building the new Mercedes-Benz headquarters, the Living Building at Georgia Tech and 3400 Overton, a Class A office building in Cobb County near the new Braves Stadium. The firm is also upgrading and modernizing the airside of the Central Passenger Terminal Complex at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, renovating the Women’s and Infant’s Center at Grady Hospital and completing the renovation of the Turner Broadcasting Food Hall and Marketplace.
