Skanska announces it has completed construction on the newly opened Merrick-Moore Park located at 632 North Hoover Road in Durham, N.C. Skanska provided preconstruction and construction management at risk services for the 50-acre project.
Merrick-Moore Park offers the Durham community:
- 25-acres of developed area,
- four tournament level, natural turf soccer fields, with stadium lighting,
- a competition field with ball netting to ensure the safety of spectators,
- a parking lot equipped with charging ports for electric cars and power pedestals for food truck use,
- a 3,000-square-foot covered picnic shelter with maintenance storage and restrooms attached, and
- space for a playground and trails
