Siplast, a Standard Industries company, announced the addition of two high-performance polyiso wall insulation products to the company’s existing WALLcontrol™ Air & Water-Resistive Barrier (AWB) Systems, offering an exterior continuous insulation solution and supporting the company’s continued expansion into the building enclosure space.

The new wall insulation solutions include Siplast® WALLcontrol™ Polyiso Foil-Faced Insulation board, which combines high R-value, Class A foam core, and durable aluminum facers in a high-performance rigid wall insulation. Additionally, Siplast® WALLcontrol™ Polyiso Glass-Faced Insulation board combines high R-value, Class A foam core, and durable coated glass facers in a high performance rigid wall insulation.

Earlier this year, Siplast introduced a full suite of high-performance air and water resistive barrier solutions, which help create a continuous air and water-resistive barrier for commercial buildings. The WALLcontrol™ AWB Systems include wall membranes, critical transition membranes, and accessories that provide solutions for above-grade vertical walls and enable complex transitions from roofing and waterproofing systems.

“Providing resistance to air movement and lowering heating and cooling costs is top of mind for building owners,” says Benjamin Meyer, Siplast Building Enclosure Business Director. “We are proud to welcome to the existing portfolio, the innovative building enclosure thermal management solutions of both the Foil-Faced and Glass-Faced insulation products. With proper installation, they can deliver  efficiency, safety and sustainability while ensuring continuity through compatibility with other Siplast®  WALLcontrol™ solutions.”

As part of a holistically-designed building enclosure system, Siplast WALLcontrol systems can contribute towards optimized energy performance and improved indoor air quality for building occupants. Both products contribute toward the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) and IEQ low emitting materials, while also earning UL GREENGUARD Certification. Additionally, Siplast® WALLcontrol™ Polyiso Foil-Faced Insulation contains 10.4%-13.8% recycled content. These products offer numerous NFPA 285 compliant assemblies.

Siplast continues to deliver high-performance building enclosure solutions and unparalleled levels of service and partnership, setting industry standards for the future of building design and construction.
