Simon mall in Sunrise, Florida home to new hotel

A Marriott-branded hotel made its debut near the Sawgrass Mills mall. AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Sawgrass Mills/Sunrise is now open at 1870 Sawgrass Mills Circle in Sunrise. The eight-story, 174-room hotel is at the southeast corner of South Florida's second-largest mall with 2.27 million square feet of leasable space.
