Sika-DriTac Introduces: DriTac 5800 ToughBond, Sustainable Resilient Flooring Adhesive

Sika-DriTac is introducing DriTac 5800 ToughBond, a new pressure sensitive resilient flooring adhesive designed for the interior installation of luxury vinyl tile, luxury vinyl plank, vinyl sheet goods (heterogeneous/homogeneous), fiberglass backed sheet vinyl, carpet tile, rubber flooring, cork tile and cork/rubber/foam underlayment for residential and commercial applications.

DriTac 5800 ToughBond is an easy-to-spread, high-performance adhesive has been formulated with exceptional application properties including high tack and grab, low odor, and easy cleanup when wet or dry. Offering a tenacious bond strength, DriTac 5800 ToughBond provides high moisture resistance of up to 12 lb. per the ASTM F1869 Calcium Chloride Method test, and 99% RH per the ASTM F2170 Relatively Humidity test.

This sustainable resilient flooring adhesive has low VOC content, helps contribute to LEED credits and has been independently tested and certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute's (CRI) Green Label Plus Program for indoor air quality (IAQ). DriTac 5800 ToughBond is packaged in 1 and 4-gallon white plastic pails.

When used in combination with other Sika-DriTac or Sika brand flooring installation solutions, such as EnviroTread recycled rubber underlayment or Sika subfloor preparation moisture barriers, primers, skimcoat or self-leveling underlayment, DriTac 5800 ToughBond helps deliver the Sika Secure system which includes a warranty equal to the lifetime of the floor.

Target to invest in store brands, in-store shops
