Schindler Elevator Corporation announces the appointment of Mr. Patrick Marton as President of its Canadian operations, responsible for the company’s business in Canada. His appointment is effective April 1, 2015.
Most recently manager for Schindler’s Lausanne, Switzerland branch, Marton also held the position of Area Service Leader at Schindler’s Geneva branch. Prior to joining Schindler in 2009, Marton worked for KONE Elevator in positions of increasing responsibility leading to the position of Switzerland Service Manager.
“Patrick’s industry expertise and background in operations management, combined with his experience within Schindler, make him well qualified to take on the leadership of our business in Canada,” says Greg Ergenbright, president, Schindler North America.  “Under his leadership, we can look forward to the continued success of Schindler’s growing Canadian presence.”
Marton holds a degree in mechanical engineering, as well as an Executive MBA from Lausanne Business School.
