Schimenti Construction Creates High-End Showroom for Kohl’s

National retailer Kohl’s unveiled a dramatic new showroom in the garment district, constructed by Schimenti Construction. The 4,000-square-foot showroom, at 1400 Broadway, acts as a striking backdrop to the latest Kohl’s fashions, with large windows, bright spotlights and a gleaming white epoxy floor. The new space allows the retailer to introduce its new collections to the press and to host industry events. The showroom is in the same building that houses Kohl’s design offices, opened nine years ago; Kohl’s now occupies 100,000 square feet on four floors. Construction was begun in mid-October 2015 and completed by the end of January 2016. The architect was CS GLOBAL Group.
