Toric Saves Construction Industry Hundreds of Hours

Once again this year, Americans will spring their clocks forward, losing an hour on March 13.

As for what can be done in an hour, in the construction industry, Toric customers are finding they can get almost 2 days of work accomplished in just over an hour thanks to Torics’ industry leading no-code business intelligence (BI) workspace for architecture, owners and engineering.

Toric was co-founded by Thiago da Costa, the former CEO of Lagoa acquired by Autodesk in 2014, due to his own frustrations when building a multifamily residential building from the ground up.

The project was completed in 18 months, six months behind schedule and 10% over budget. Ultimately, da Costa discovered that almost all projects suffer cost overruns and are delivered 40% late.

Toric provides data integration, data prep and analytics in a cloud platform to boost productivity. With it, users can consolidate, prepare for analysis, visualize, share and reuse data. Workflows that previously required 36 – 38 hours can now be built in one hour.

The old adage “time is money” is truer than ever as the construction industry faces supply delays and labor shortages, due to the ongoing supply chain problems, contributing to increased time and cost overruns.

Toric is making it possible to circumvent construction problems and processes, slashing the time and cost of production, and how his startup is helping the AECO industry catch up to digital solutions?  To find out more, CLICK HERE.
