RSTP Investments LLC has given a historic YMCA building a makeover and converted it into a 44-key boutique hotel which has just opened, according to the San Jose Downtown Association. Originally built in 1913, the Beaux-Arts-style structure, designed by local architect William Bender, served the charitable organization until 1959. RSTP plans to expand Hotel Clariana on the parking lot it owns next to the property and create 60 additional rooms, a pool and new lobby. Read the Commercial Property Executive story here
