Nancy J. Ruddy, cofounder and managing principal of the award-winning global architecture and design firm CetraRuddy, has been named to the board of the Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute in New York.
Announced by the Newman Institute today, Nancy Ruddy is the second professional named to the Institute’s board who is an architect and interior designer by training. In her new role, Ms. Ruddy will help promote knowledge of key real estate, design and planning issues and work to strengthen ties with various stakeholder communities.

The Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute, founded in 1996, is part of the ZicklinSchool of Business, the largest accredited collegiate school of business in the United States, and located at Baruch College of the City University of New York. The Institute provides applied research, professional and continuing education and multidisciplinary conferences to the real estate industry and to allied organizations focused on public policy. Its work has been lauded for contributing new insights on a wide range of critical urban issues including sustainability, historic preservation, energy efficiency and public transportation, among many others.

Studley, and the founding chair, William Newman.
