Rosendin, the nation’s largest employee-owned electrical contracting company, announces Rob Moreno, SVP, as the new leader for Rosendin’s Renewable Energy Group (RREG). As Sr. Vice President and member of the Senior Leadership Team, Moreno will oversee operations, drive expansion, and lead strategic planning for RREG, one of the fastest-growing renewable energy groups in the U.S.

This leadership change comes as demand grows for sustainable energy solutions. Moreno brings over 25 years of construction experience, driving high-performing teams to build complex projects in the energy, healthcare, defense, and transportation sectors.

“RREG is a market leader in developing innovative, cost-effective energy solutions. I’m honored to lead this team to the next stage,” Rob Moreno, SVP said. “Together with our partners and stakeholders, we will expand our capabilities to deliver quality projects that move our communities and nation forward.”

Moreno started his career as an electrical apprentice in 1996 while earning his degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University. He worked as a Journeyman Electrician and transitioned into Project Management before returning to school to get his Master of Business Administration in 2007. He has spent the last 17 years leading construction teams as a Division Manager, Vice President, and Senior Vice President and serving on a Board of Directors for his previous organization.

“Since joining Rosendin, Rob has demonstrated a deep commitment to improving efficiencies and building new pathways to benefit employees, craft workers, and our partners. He will be instrumental in taking the renewables business to its next stage of growth. I would invite those attending the RE+ show in September to stop by our booth and meet him,” said Keith Douglas, Rosendin CEO. “I would also like to express my gratitude to David Lincoln for his dedication to building the RREG team and delivering exceptional projects that made Rosendin’s Renewable Energy Group one of the top five EPC companies in the country.”

Under Lincoln’s leadership, RREG grew into an elite Tier 1 Solar EPC that designs and self-performs the full spectrum of medium and high-voltage electrical, substation, and transmission work. Today, RREG is building mid- to large-scale solar photovoltaic systems and battery energy storage systems (BESS) nationwide, with a portfolio that includes commercial and utility-grade solar facilities, healthcare facilities, and universities.

To date, RREG has delivered nearly 7 GW of solar project installations, with more than 2 GW currently under construction. Solar Power World recently recognized RREG among the country’s top leaders in utility-scale renewable power generation for its turnkey expertise and EPC capabilities in developing cost-efficient and cost-effective solar solutions.
