Roseburg Forest Products is pleased to announce that Eric Geyer has accepted the position of Director of Strategic Business Development and External Affairs for the company.
Eric joined Roseburg as a field forester in 1999 and has progressively worked his way up through the resource group over the last 18 years, accepting new challenges and responsibilities in various areas of the company, including forest policy and regulation, environmental mitigation, new business analysis and evaluation, strategic project negotiations and capital planning. Most recently, Eric was instrumental in leading and coordinating the company’s efforts to identify the optimal location and negotiate the land purchase and financial incentives for Roseburg’s new engineered wood products plant in Chester, S.C.
In his new role, Eric will work closely with the company’s executive team and individual business leaders to coordinate the development, communication and execution of the company’s strategic plan. He will continue to provide leadership and coordinate Roseburg’s position on resource-related political, policy and regulatory matters.
Eric will continue to report to Scott Folk, Senior Vice President of Resources.
