RAYMOND NICOLAS New Interior Designer

Miami-based design house RAYMOND NICOLAS is pleased to announce that Antonio Rodriguez has joined the firm as a junior interior designer. A graduate of Miami International University of Art & Design, Rodriguez draws on his diverse cultural, academic, and professional backgrounds to assist in creating beautiful spaces, with the human experience at the forefront, for the studio’s growing luxury residential and commercial project portfolio.

“In line with our multi-faceted design approach, Antonio is adept at communicating client’s needs through design,” said Raymond Jimenez, founder and creative director of RAYMOND NICOLAS. “Antonio has developed a unique, well-rounded creative and cultural lens that distinctively shines through in his work. We have no doubt that he will continue to be an invaluable asset to the team.”

Rodriguez’s work is largely informed by his nomadic upbringing. Growing up in five different countries, including Angola, the Canary Islands, South Africa, England, and the United States, Rodriguez’s experience catalyzed an early interest in human behavior, including the ways in which individuals interact with and experience different environments. With a background in the interior design and furniture industries, Rodriguez also brings an extensive understanding of both the creative and retail sides of the business.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the RAYMOND NICOLAS team not only because of the design house’s incredible work but also for the vast influences and cultural diversity at its core,” explains Rodriguez. “RAYMOND NICOLAS’ design ethos reflects my own, with a commitment to creating meaningful art while redefining the concept of Miami design. I look forward to working alongside such a talented team.”

Rodriguez works in tandem with the architecture and interior design teams, creating conceptual design development presentations, sourcing and pricing various materials, as well as creating drafts and digital models of the studio’s projects. Rodriguez has also played a significant role in the creation and development of the firm’s debut into men’s streetwear accessories with the recent launch of F1-inspired limited edition caps, which are available for purchase through raymondnicolas.com.
