A planned hotel-casino that would be the first built in Las Vegas since the now-defunct Lucky Dragon will open earlier than planned despite health and safety adjustments forced by the pandemic, developer Derek Stevens says. The 777-room Circa, which is expected to debut by year’s end, will put an end to a four-decade drought in ground-up hotel construction in the downtown area.
