Designed to serve the growing remodeling and replacement market, EnergyQuest™ Window & Door System provides OEM customers with an affordable system that offers a new level of performance and aesthetics features that meet ENERGY STAR® 6.0 criteria and DP-50 residential structural ratings.
“Our OEM partners helped us in identifying the need for EnergyQuest. This market solution provides long-term energy savings, versatility and aesthetic appeal for both replacement and new construction projects,” said Eric Thompson, Product Sales Specialist, Quanex.  “This high-performance vinyl system achieves energy efficiency for platforms across a full variety of window styles and configurations.”
The isolated frame reinforcement and innovative weatherstrip application work to reduce air infiltration and improve overall thermal performance. EnergyQuest optimizes the energy efficiency of the entire window system by combining multiple thermally optimized window components, such as dual- or triple-pane glass, argon or krypton gas-fills, Low-e coatings, and non-metallic warm-edge spacers (Super Spacer® or Duralite®).
Ideal for builders and homeowners, EnergyQuest is available in a wide variety of configurations and can accommodate either double- or triple-glazed insulating glass units up to 1-1/8 inch thick. EnergyQuest’s smaller frame cross section and larger glazing area offer heightened aesthetics without sacrificing performance.
