PTS Contracting, the premier full-service healthcare contractor in the NY tri-state area, announced today that Tivona Cunningham has been hired as Director of Business Development. In her new role, which is a newly created position at PTS, Cunningham will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and expanding the company’s client base in the region, particularly in the healthcare sector.

“Tivona is a real go-getter, with a proven track record of building a wide network of relationships in the Hudson Valley,” said Phyllis Dellacamera, owner of PTS. “She will be an invaluable asset to PTS Contracting as we continue to meet demand for our contracting and project management services. Especially in healthcare construction, which should see healthy growth in 2022.”

Cunningham brings 20+ years of experience in business development, sales and marketing, public relations, event planning, and community and client relations. Her focus will be on developing new client relationships, managing the sales pipeline, and maintaining the company’s reputation for superior service and a high-quality client experience. She will also work closely with Zach Sawyer, recently appointed as Vice President, Construction Operations. Together, they will increase PTS Contracting’s visibility across market sectors, business leadership organizations, and trade associations.

Most recently, Cunningham served as Director of Business Development, Marketing, and Sales at Perfect Restoration and Cleaning Corp in Suffern, NY. Previously, she owned her own public relations and special events business in Houston, TX, where she worked with clients in an array of sectors. Cunningham’s experience also spans the construction and legal sectors, including pool construction project management and business development and event planning, respectively. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology from the University of Houston, where she continued post-graduate studies in nonprofit management and hospitality.
