POWER Engineers forms new Technology group

POWER Engineers Inc. has formed a new Technology group, which will focus on applying advances in technology to build success for clients and for internal teams.

Nathan Bingham will take the group’s helm as Vice President of Technology.

“I’m honored and excited to have been selected for this position,” Bingham said. “Every client we serve is being impacted by efforts to decarbonize and electrify and have goals that can only be met through applying technology in ways never done before.”

The role is a natural evolution for Bingham. In 2021, he became POWER’s director of strategy and technology, assisting clients in planning for upcoming electrification and decarbonization through innovative solutions. He brings 28 years of experience to the team, in addition to having recently completed the Chief Technology Officer program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.

The team will also include two directors of technology. Current substations technology manager Joe Cote will focus on applying technology to internal processes and teams, while current business development director William Rambo will focus on technologies impacting POWER’s clients and industries. Shawn Weekly will join the team as a digital transformation architect.

“POWER’s increased emphasis on technology through the creation of this new organization assures we will be ready and able to help our clients meet those goals and continue being successful in the challenging years to come,” added Bingham.
